Mudhra Bhaskar is a rare combination of a cultural organizer, mrudangist and printer. As the founder secretary of the organization Mudhra (the only full fledged sabha run by a musician), Bhaskar has a number of achievements to this credit. Mudhra which was started in 1995 by Bhaskar with a motto to blend entertainment and education in fine arts has indeed become a cultural movement.

As a mrudangam artist, Bhaskar had the opportunity of learning from top artists like Mannargudi A. Easwaran and Karaikudi R. Mani and now, he is undergoing advanced training from Thiruvarur Bakthavatsalam. He has been in the field for the past 30 years and has been accompanying several leading vidhwans. Every year, Bhaskar brings out the much acclaimed Music Planner - cum Directory containing complete database of musicians and music related personalities all over the globe.

Bhaskar is also the Associate Editor of the widely popular fine arts magazine Samudhra, which is creatively designed and printed by him. He was a District Chairperson for Fine Arts in the Lions Club District 324A1, Bhaskar has devised a special scheme to teach music to Government and Corporation School children and this has evinced tremendous response.

Some titles received by Bhaskar for his service to fine arts are Kala Seva Bharathi (Bharat Kalachar), Sabha Bhushan (Bhairavi Gana Sabha) and Kalasevak (Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer Trust).
