Dr.Radha Bhaskar and Mudhra Bhaskar is a unique couple who have dedicated themselves to the cause of fine arts in several ways. As musicians, they are a perfect vocalist- mrudangist combination who have been giving concert all over India. They were instrumental in starting Mudhra, a cultural organisation that has brought about a revolution in the cultural field. The duo also runs Samudhra, a magazine for fine arts. Radha & Bhaskar have been working tirelessly to project and present Indian fine arts in its greatest glory. They are in perfect unison in their mission to create a beautiful and vibrant world through the medium of fine arts.

Dr.Radha Bhaskar is a rare combination of a vocal musician, musicologist, journalist and cultural organizer. She is a disciple of Padma Bhooshan Sri.P.S.Narayanaswamy and has performed many concerts all over India.

Radha holds a doctorate degree in music for her thesis- "Karnatic Music Concerts - an analytical study." She has been sharing her music knowledge and experiece by conducting special "Music Appreciation Programmes" to enlighten rasikas about the nuances of Indian Classical music. She had the rare privilege of conducting a spectacular group singing programme by 5,000 school children from about 100 schools in October 2004 in the presence of the former President of India, His Excellency Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.

Radha is presently the Editor of the prestigious art magazine Samudhra (a magazine for music, dance, drama), which has carved a niche for itself in the fine arts field.

Dr.Radha has over fifteen years of experience as an organizer and administrator. She is the Treasurer of the unique cultural organization Mudhra, noted for its novel and purposeful programmes. Dr.Radha has the honour of being a Member of the Board of Studies of Indian Music in the University of Madras and Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

Mudhra Bhaskar is a rare combination of a mrudangist, cultural organizer, designer and printer.

As a mrudangam artist, Mudhra Bhaskar had the opportunity of learning from top artists and he is now undergoing advanced training from Tiruvarur Sri.Bakthavatsalam. He has been in the field for the past 30 years and has accompanied several leading vidhwans.

Bhaskar is the founder secretary of the organization Mudhra, which has created a sensation among cultural organizations within a short span of time by introducing thought provoking, novel and innovative projects in the field of Carnatic music. Every year, Bhaskar brings out the much acclaimed Music Planner - cum Directory containing complete database of musicians and music related personalities all over the globe. Bhaskar is also the Associate Editor of the widely popular magazine Samudhra, which is creatively designed and printed by him.

As a Printer by profession, Mudhra Bhaskar is a successful entrepreneur and has been running a printing unit "Mudhra Prints" for the past 22 years. He has also completed a Master's Degree in Rhythmology.
