A One day seminar was held by Mudhra at Narada Gana Sabha (mini hall) to highlight the contribution of music stalwarts like Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar, Madurai Mani Iyer, M.D.Ramanathan, GN Balasubramaniam, Alathur Brothers, Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagavatar. The respective disciples and associates of these stalwarts shared their experiences and also illustrated the contribution of these great stalwarts in enriching Karnatic music.

Demonstration on Kuraippu, Mohara and Korvai by J.Vaidhyanathan(Mrudangam), B.S.Purushotham (Kanjira), A.S.Krishnan(Moharsing) followed. Talas in Film Music was presented by by B.Balasubramaniam. A very interesting demonstration on Talas across the three classical systems - Carnatic, Hindustani and Western by Sriram Parasuram marked the grand finale.
